Summary: Seeing art is wonderful
Comment: The Simon Olding Book, Martyn Brewster is informative and well written. It is a comprehensive study of Brewster's works before and during 1997. It tells of Brewster's childhood and his evolution as a painter. It also includes many color photographs of his art works. Brewster's work is vibrantly colorful work that is mostly abstract or of scenes in nature. The evolution of his works is well represented by the photographs. There are two unfortunate things however. First, that some of the photos aren't in color. Second, that the book couldn't contain more. Mr. Olding's insight into the artist is very perceptive and should be congratulated on bringing the works of such a talented artist to the general public.
