Summary: Typical military clarity
Comment: This book details US military capability in the Asia/Pacific in a very limited way. Unless you know what a "force multiplier" is or other military jargon do not even bother. If you do, then this book does have a good summery of the US military in general, but that is the problem. The book's tittle is about the US military in the Asia/Pacific yet the detailed information that would narrow the author's work to the book's subject matter is limited to Pacific Command's chain of command and man-power/equipment numbers. Weeks and Meconis give little more beyond that. In other words, this book was about as clear and informative as most books from military authors.
