Summary: Best source of information for women with PCOS
Comment: I was recently diagnosed with PCOS and bought every book I could find on the subject. After reading all of them, I still think that this is the best choice. It has so much information that is easy to understand. I found out some things about this syndrome that I had not been aware of before, all thanks to this book. The book breaks down all the information on the subject to make it easy to comprehend. I placed an order for several other books so that I can give them to family members who don't understand much about this condition. I also ordered a copy for my doctor!

Rating: 5
Summary: Good primer, great non-traditional med info.
Comment: This book is very easy to read and will be a great help to the newly diagnosed woman with pcos.

It offers practical information that supplements info found on the major PCOS sites like SoulCysters.com, or PCOSupport.org.

What sets this book apart from other pcos books is the comprehensive section on non-traditional treatments for PCOS, like herbs.

Bottom line, imo: Worth buying!

Rating: 5
Summary: A great place to start!
Comment: Best-Boss knows has done a good job of outlining the basics of PCOS. It is an easy read and a great introduction to living with PCOS. So often women tell me that their doctors give them a diagnosis and send them on their way without any answers. This book should be required reading for all endocrinologists and GYNs. Perhaps then they would understand that PCOS is a complicated syndrome that is so much more than what we weigh or whether we can get pregnant on demand. Best-Boss offers a soothing explanation that can help diffuse the panic so many women feel when they first learn that they have PCOS. Read this book, then send a copy to your doctor!
