Summary: These guys know what they're doing!
Comment: Listen up skeptics! The authors of this book (Darris and Bill) know what they're doing when it comes to creature creating! Everything from sketching, to modelling, to surfacing, to animating...the whole nine yards. The tutorials in this book are as far from "Mickey Mouse" as you can get. Quite simply put, this is the BEST, most HELPFUL book/tutorial I've ever read in my life. There are lots of diagrams that show you what your object(s) should look like along the way which makes this book 100% better! BUY THIS BOOK NOW!! I created my first creature in about three days.

Comment: I found this book to be very well-written. The tutorials provide a thorough overview of the modeling tools available in Truespace. I was pleased to find a book that featured tutorials on modeling interesting characters for a change.

Comment: The tutorials and examples are nothing to write home about. Anyone experimenting with trueSpace can create the same characters in a few days. It's still a good book but it doesn't really cover high end type work. Ok for a beginner.
