No other book covers all the topics like Murach's. (If you buy this book forget about Murach's ADO .NET book, you will get enough information from this ASP .NET book on ADO .NET).

The publisher's web site has downloads for all the code from this book, and two free chapters. They layout of this book is excellent.

With 12 years in software development, and just completing an ADO .NET course I can truthfully say this book will get you up to speed fast and creating a fully functioning ASP .NET web site using SQL Server and ADO .NET.
