Comment: I am interested in discussions of the poly lifestyle, so I read this book with great interest. Not everyone can show the OTHER side of BDSM, the love and attachment of truly devoted couples.
Add to this all the twist of a remarkably good who-done-it and you have "The Household."

Summary: Some of the finest work I have read to date
Comment: Having read Ms. Lightfoots work, I must say that I found it to be enjoyable in the extreme. I myself am a somewhat well known writer in the BDSM and D/s world both as a poet and for my series of D/s novels called the Talon series. Therefor I know of which I speak. Ms. Lightfoot's characters are enjoyable and quite easy to identify with. I would recommend her work at any time to any one in the Lifestyle without hesitation and look forward to her next work.

Summary: Don't Waste Your Money
Comment: One of the worst books I have ever read. I have a keen interest in D/s and was delighted to find this book thinking it would be a page turner. I found the story was without substance and lacked ingenuity. Very bland. It was so boring it put me to sleep. I suppose if I wanted a sleeping pill, I could open this book instead and that would help. So perhaps, it's good for something.
