Rating: 5
Summary: Great starting point !
Comment: This is an excellent text for someone new to network analysis ! I have also purchased Laura's book on Advanced Network Analysis and TCP/IP Analysis & Troubleshooting. These books are even better than this one. Thanks Laura for your excellent presentation and insight to network analysis.

Rating: 2
Summary: Overview of Network Analysis
Comment: The title should be called "An overview of Network Analysis" or something like that! The book does't teach you anything about basic or detail approach of network analysis, just a overview of the network analysis, to compare with her another wonderful analysis book "Novell's Guide to LAN/WAN Analysis: IPX/SPX". Please refer to Scott Haugdahl's Network Analysis and Troubleshooting for a start.
