Comment: "Overnight Stay" is a must read for all of us. It is an enlightenment. The author brings to you the exciting dynamics of Motel and Cottage operation in a popular tourist area of Central New York. You can see and feel the "work ethic" as you read the lines and between the lines. He shares with you what it was like to take on this great responsibility of serving the public and the wearing of the many "hats" that are required. He includes in this excellent book, some of his travels, with his devoted family, to far away places. He grasps well the human behavior of the public and he serves them well,giving much credit for any successes, to his wife and children. And, there's more when he has a brush with danger on unpredictable Oneida Lake. I enjoyed reading this book. I hope to meet the author of this book when I'm in the east and I hope that he will have one of his cottages available. I'm told that there is nothing like an Oneida Lake Pike filet. You're an excellent writer, Author Maxey.

Comment: This book reveals our human conditions in no uncertain terms. The author neither spares himself nor the rest of us in his many varied chapters. You can go from a motel scene to the coast of Antartica or the mountains of Hawaii in this book and each description is so well written that you are taking a vicarious vacation while snuggled in your favorite chair.

This is a book that is so interesting in scope that it's hard to put down but after you've finished your first read you find that it's fun to pick it up and reread your most interesting chapter without losing any continuity.

I highly recommend OVERNIGHT STAY!!!!
