Summary: questionable translation
Comment: There are those of you out there who will understand the meaning of what I am writing here.I have matched the translation of this book with earlier editions, and picked out many differences that clearly indicates to me the author of this edition,Weinberg, has added remarks, and personal phrasing to relay this work the way he wants the reader to view this document, such as the mordern day rehashed translation editions availiable today of Mein Kampf. He uses words in the forward to describe Hitler as evil, and describes his attitude towards Jews of the period as immaginary enimies, nothing more on jewish activity during the period.Weinberg's 2003 edition of this document contains a very biased translation.Look to earlier translatios of this work.

Comment: To the know-nothings who think the book was written in the late 1930s after Hitler had attained power, check again. It was written in the late 20s, following Mein Kampf, and deals directly with subject matter covered in the end of Mein Kampf. It's been available for decades in English and has been available online long before jew Weinberg 'discovered' it. The above description slanders former translations as 'pirated' and not 'authoritative.' How do you 'pirate' an uncopyrighted text written by a long-dead world figure? It's totally valid. The work is authentic -- it couldn't have been written by anyone but Hitler, certainly not Weinberg. It reads like the last chapters of Mein Kampf, in greater detail, though less refined. In any case the substance is the same and the work brilliantly expounds the National Socialist philosophy. To the reader from az, don't fret. This is no anti-hitler propaganda job. It's genuine, recognized by David Irving, among others. I thought it was a fake too at first, but since I found it online I just read some of it myself - in fact I couldn't stop reading til well into the 5th or 6th chapter - and found that it was genuine and quickly secured a copy for myself from an online used book seller. If you're wary about reading a copy translated by a jew, you're right to be. Don't give this guy a cent. Buy a used copy of a prior English translation, or just read it online at adolfhitler.ws. Called the 'Zweites Buch.'

Summary: Provacative, interesting
Comment: The writing style for this short volume is from the same hand that wrote Mien Kampf. It is lucid, quick whitted and lashes out with strong brush strokes, assaulting the nations of Europe and encouraging German minorities to rise to the occasion. This book was the work of Hitler in the late 1930s when he had obtained power but prior to the beginning of World War Two. The first chapters detail the authors interest in the German minorities and their rights throughout Europe. The latter part of the book delves into the importance of America in Germanys coming conflict.

In the end this book is not much more enlightening then Mien Kampf in shedding light on the psychology of Hitler. Although some new material is included mostly this will appeal to the German/Nazi enthusiast. The writing becomes boring and you get the feeling you've read the same point again and again.
