Summary: disappointing.....
Comment: This guide is totally different from the game, like in the part where you fight galak it said "shoot the gold conductors on each shield conduit before using your lightsaber to blast the conduit". But in the game ITS A RED CONDUIT NOT GOLD!!
The author didnt cover all of the multiplayer maps, he left out a few like the yavin final duel and hanger duel.
And after looking at the cheats page, it gets even better, all those cheats there are a fake that do not work in the full version. That means the author only played and wrote the book with the BETA version of this game.
I would advise everyone do not buy this book!

Summary: Worse than no guide at all.
Comment: I got this guide for free but still think it's a waste of time. On the surface, this looks like a complete guide that is easy to follow, with annotated maps throughout. The glossy paper and full-color presentation looks nice at first glance, but in practice, you'd be better off with a fan-authored walkthrough from the internet. The maps provided are tiny and all but impossible to read. Without a good map to follow, the walkthrough text is infuriatingly vague. "Follow the corridor and look for the secret door. Open it, navigate the path, and watch out for enemies!" Perhaps this is a brainless shooting game, but I would hope that most of us would have figured that bit out by ourselves. There's quite a bit of repetition in the text as well, which gives the impression that the material has been padded out to fill space.
Perhaps part of the blame rests with the subject of the book, the game itself. Jedi Outcast can sometimes be about as much fun as a toothache, but this book does nothing to ease the pain. Its saving grace is a competent breakdown of enemies and weapons, but nothing you don't already have in the manual.
