Summary: Thrilling story! Action, twists, and a surprise ending!
Comment: I liked this book a lot. It's written for kids but will give older readers an exciting page-turning version of the movie's story. The author kept me on the edge of my seat! He really got Dr. Alan Grant's dry wit down, and I liked all the dino action. A great surprise at the end, too. Wait till you read it! The author also wrote a very interesting story called Jurassic Park Survivor that takes place before the movie. It's about how Eric (just a regular kid) gets stuck alone on the Jurassic Park island and how he must try to stay alive around the dinosaurs while he's waiting to be rescued by Dr. Grant and the others. Jurassic Park Survivor is a very good story, too. If you are a JP fan, I highly recommend both books!

Summary: READ THE MOVIE!
Comment: Usually movie novelizations leave me cold, but I loved this one. I only picked it up because I'm a fan of Scott Ciencin's DINOVERSE books and thought he'd be the perfect choice to write a Jurassic Park story. I was right. Reading this book made me feel like I was in the movie, trapped on Isla Sorna and running from that nasty Spinosaurus! The pictures were cool, and the book even had warnings in the opening pages about how dangerous the park is. The whole package really brought me back to that prehistoric world. I also read Scott Ciencin's SURVIVOR, which is sort of a prequel to Jurassic Park III. That is excellent too. All that's left is the movie. I can't wait to see it.

Summary: Different from movie
Comment: I read this book and it has a lot of different stuff that's not in the movie. One really dumb part is when a Pteranodon carries a raptor into the air. Another one is when Paul Kirby is trying to fight a Pteranodon. He would die fast, but he doesn't die in the book. Don't buy the book. Buy and watch the movie.
